THE BIG DAY

Well I decided not to do anything except go out to Red Lobster with my parents. Which means I miss out on alot of presents and other stuff. I really don't mean to sound so materialistic but it does make a person feel slightly disappointed if they don't get anything for their sweet 16. I didn't ask for much this year. Even though it was my own doing, I can't help but to feel lonely today. Not only that but my dad cancelled the Red Lobster dinner tonight because he didn't want high cholesterol on his blood test that he's taking tomorrow. That was the only thing I was looking forward to, and although there was a good reason that it was cancelled I still feel let down because I got so worked up over it. Sigh. I know part of this was probably my fault but this wasn't how I wanted to spend my 16th birthday :(
