schweet 16?

So my 16th birthday is coming up and I'm not sure what to do. My mom wants me to invite friends over for stuff...that's about the first time she ever encouraged anything like this, so it made me feel slightly weird. the funny thing though is that I don't really feel like doing anything. Sure having them over would be fun and presents are always nice :D but I dunno...why do I feel like this? Plus, this is 16 we're talking about, so it calls for celebration. I just don't know what to do! I'm glad my mom is being supportive of this stuff for once, but now I get the sense that I myself don't feel like anything. Weird.
